AutonomLayer End User License Agreement
License terms for the AutonomLayer macOS application and related downloadable software.
Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is between you and **AutonomLayer (a project of its founders, legal entity pending formation)** for the AutonomLayer macOS application and related updates we provide (the "Software").
Installing, copying, or using the Software means you accept this EULA, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with this EULA, the Terms, and your subscription plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Software on Mac computers you own or control, solely for your personal or internal business purposes in connection with the Services.
2. Updates and Device Data
We may deliver updates automatically or require updates for security, compatibility, or feature changes. Material changes to the Software or this EULA may be notified through the app, email, or our website as required by law.
The Software may check for updates and report version, build, and device identifiers to our servers. Required updates may prevent use of older versions.
3. macOS Permissions and Local Data
The Software may request macOS permissions (such as Accessibility, Screen Recording, or Automation) to interact with IDEs and on-screen elements you configure. You control whether to grant permissions.
You represent that you have the right to automate the applications and workflows you configure. You are responsible for actions the Software takes on your Mac based on your missions, templates, and settings, including access to local files and repositories that may contain personal, confidential, or regulated data.
4. Restrictions
Except as expressly permitted by applicable law, you may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, lend, or redistribute the Software; use the Software to provide a competing hosted service; remove proprietary notices; or modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or create derivative works of the Software (except to the extent mandatory interoperability rights apply in your jurisdiction).
You may not use the Software in violation of export control or sanctions laws.
5. Third Parties and Open Source
The Software integrates with third-party products (such as Cursor, Codex, Claude, and AI providers). Those products are not owned or controlled by AutonomLayer. Apple Inc. is not a party to this EULA and is not responsible for the Software.
The Software may include third-party open-source components licensed under their respective licenses. Notices are available in the Software distribution or on request at legal@autonomlayer.com.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SOFTWARE IS SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATION OF LIABILITY AND EXCLUSIONS IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE. NOTHING IN THIS EULA EXCLUDES OR LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
8. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach this EULA or the Terms, or if your account is terminated. Upon termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software and destroy copies in your possession.
