Do I still need Cursor or another IDE?

Yes. AutonomLayer orchestrates missions in Cursor or Codex. It does not replace your editor or model subscriptions.

Why isn't this free like my editor's chat?

Chat is one thread. AutonomLayer is long-running orchestration: planning, steps, checkpoints, and Mac-side automation across hours or overnight.

What counts as a mission?

One mission = one goal broken into steps (e.g. “add auth + tests + polish UI” , ~15 steps, can run overnight). Daily limits count mission starts, not individual steps.

What happens when I hit my daily mission limit?

Your current missions keep running. New mission starts wait until the next day (midnight UTC) or you upgrade for a higher daily cap.

What can I do on the Free plan?

Free projects only — try the overnight build flow on curated free projects. Custom prompts, all templates, and AI idea generation require Plus or Premium.

How do I cancel, and will I be charged again?

Cancel anytime from Billing → Manage billing in Stripe — the same signed-in area used to subscribe. Plans auto-renew until cancelled. You keep access until the period-end date shown in Billing. We show the next renewal date in-app so cancellation is not harder than signup.

Can I use my own models?

Execution uses whatever models your IDE is configured with. We handle mission planning on our side for paid tiers.
