AutonomLayer for iOS: Your Mac builds. Your phone directs.

Software ideas do not wait for your desk. AutonomLayer for iPhone and iPad is coming soon — draft missions, sync plans to your Mac, and track progress on the go.

Software ideas do not wait for you to sit down at a desk. You think of a feature on a walk, refine a brief over coffee, or wonder whether last night’s mission finished while you are away from your Mac.

Until now, AutonomLayer lived on the Mac — where the IDE runs, where steps execute, where the build actually happens. That is still true. What is coming next is where you steer the work.

AutonomLayer for iPhone and iPad is coming soon.

What AutonomLayer mobile actually is

AutonomLayer turns a plain-language idea into a structured, step-by-step plan and runs it through your IDE on Mac, Cloud, Cursor, Kiro, and more. You describe what you want to build; AutonomLayer breaks it into executable steps, opens the right project, and orchestrates the work on your machine.

The iOS app is not a shrunken desktop experience. It is a remote control for your Mac agent — same account, same missions, same backend. Your phone becomes the command surface; your Mac still does the heavy lifting.

Why a mobile app at all

Most builders do not need another IDE on a phone. They need a way to stay connected to the pipeline they already run on Mac — without opening a laptop for every decision.

  • Capture and refine mission ideas on iPhone or iPad
  • Generate plans and send them to your paired Mac
  • Monitor active, in-progress, and completed projects
  • Switch between Easy and Developer modes depending on how you work

IDE automation, execution, screenshots, and step-by-step builds still run locally on your Mac. The mobile app keeps you in command when you are not in front of it.

Two ways to work: Easy and Developer

Same product. Different interface, depending on how you think.

Easy modeDeveloper mode
Speed and clarity — everyday language, focused flowFull control over intent, platforms, step count, and focus areas
AutonomLayer infers platforms, structure, and next stepsChoose IDE, advanced options, and compose missions precisely
Ideal for founders, indie builders, and quick startsBuilt for power users who want depth without a laptop

Both modes push plans to the same Mac agent. Pick the one that matches the moment — a coffee-shop idea capture or a detailed mission brief before you leave the office.

Built to feel like AutonomLayer — not a generic companion

The iOS app shares the AutonomLayer design language with Mac: charcoal studio chrome, calm typography, Light / Dark / Sci-Fi appearance packages, and the same premium sign-in experience.

Login, onboarding, and in-app screens follow the macOS Mission Control aesthetic. Moving between devices should feel like one product — not two apps stitched together.

What ships at launch

  • Mission creation from mobile — draft an idea, review it, and generate a plan synced to your Mac
  • “Surprise me” AI starters — project ideas when you are stuck
  • Project library — browse drafts, in-progress work, and completed builds
  • Mac pairing and sync — connect to your AutonomLayer backend and Mac agent; see live backend status
  • Free demo missions and paid plans — try starter templates on Free; unlock custom missions with Plus and Premium via AutonomLayer web billing
  • Voice assistant (Mission Q) — create missions and navigate the app hands-free
  • Appearance settings — Light, Dark, Sci-Fi, and extended design packages aligned with desktop

Who it is for

  • Indie developers who want to kick off missions from the couch
  • Founders capturing product ideas before they forget them
  • Teams where one person drives missions and others monitor progress
  • Power users who want Developer-mode control without opening a laptop

If you build software with AI-assisted IDE workflows, AutonomLayer mobile keeps you connected to that pipeline — whether you are already on Mac or ready to pair one.

    Use your existing AutonomLayer account.

  2. 2

    Pair with your Mac

Connect to a Mac running AutonomLayer and a supported IDE.

  3. 3

    Create or resume a mission

Draft on iPhone or iPad in Easy or Developer mode.

  4. 4

    Let your Mac execute

Plan generation, step execution, and automation run locally on your machine.

  5. 5

AutonomLayer mobile is a companion, not a replacement for your Mac. The magic still happens on your machine. The phone is how you stay in command.

Coming soon

AutonomLayer for iOS is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone and iPad.

You will need an AutonomLayer account and a Mac running AutonomLayer for full mission execution. Subscription details and plan comparison are at autonomlayer.com/pricing.

We built AutonomLayer on Mac because that is where the IDE lives. We built AutonomLayer for iOS because ideas and decisions happen everywhere else. Stay tuned — the mobile command layer is on its way.
